Project idea (in English):

One of the most acute problems faced by the Baikovets village council is the lack of sewage treatment facilities in the village of Baikovets, as a result of which household wastewater enters rivers or groundwater directly (without treatment) and is a threat to the spread of pathogens of intestinal diseases. The Hnizdesna and Gnizdna rivers flow through the community and flow into the Seret River, a left tributary of the Dniester. The discharge of untreated wastewater leads to the degradation of rivers - their siltation increases, and self-recovery processes slow down. The content of pollutants in the above-listed water bodies exceeds the maximum permissible concentrations, which has a detrimental effect on the territory. Implementation of this project will enable: - to improve the ecological condition in the villages of the community and region; - to restore full-fledged recreation places of citizens near water bodies; - to improve the water environment of the community; - to improve the socio-economic activity of the community.
