Komitet Monitorujący (KM) jest głównym organem decyzyjnym Programu złożonym z dwóch delegacji narodowych, składających się z członków z prawem głosu, ich zastępców oraz obserwatorów. W zależności od tematyki obrad, za zgodą Przewodniczącego Komitetu Monitorującego, do udziału w spotkaniach mogą być zapraszani eksperci (w charakterze obserwatorów).
Informacje ogólne
Główne zadania Komitetu Monitorującego:
- Zatwierdzenie dokumentów Programu (w tym formularzy i procedur).
- Podjęcie ostatecznej decyzji w sprawie złożonych Wniosków Aplikacyjnych (wybór do dofinansowania).
- Procesy decyzyjne dotyczące wymaganych zmian w projekcie (w stosownych przypadkach).
Przedstawiciel Komisji Europejskiej uczestniczy w posiedzeniach KM jako ciało doradcze.
